A few years ago, I took a character design class while working on my graduate degree. The assignment was to create a super hero. The original idea behind AF Cupcakes was Agnes worked at a bakery and fought crime. Over the years of sketching and thinking about how to create a story involving my frosting-slinging zombie, it evolved into a murder mystery.
While the characters I created in this Webtoon take no inspiration from my friendship with my very missed best friend, I enjoy creating stories about friendships that transcend death. Thank you for reading!
